Tucson Symphony Orchestra got the superior technology they needed at a price they could afford.

BACKGROUND

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra (TSO), now in its 82nd season, is the oldest symphony orchestra in the Southwest and the oldest continuously performing professional arts organization in Arizona.

The TSO conducts its business by phone and over the Internet, requiring seamless and quick transactions.

SOLUTIONS

Cox Business was chosen by the TSO to replace their previous legacy provider, which was not living up to the reliability and cost expectations of the TSO.

The TSO is a nonprofit and as Cheryl Moose, their director of finance and human resources, points out, the organization is always looking to get the most it can for its money. “The relationship with Cox Business was important. They took a holistic look at our organization – how we sell and receive donations. Cox Business wanted to make us technologically efficient and save us money. And they have,” says Moose.

RESULTS

“The business we do is by phone and over the Internet – ticketing and donations. For us, reliability is most important,” says Moose. “When our Internet was down, it was simply unacceptable. We haven’t been down once since switching to Cox Business three years ago. And when we’ve had an issue, the Cox Business customer care managers are very responsive and efficient,” she adds.
